 Writing runs in the family
My brother, Lance, and co-author, Kira Gould, recently wrote a non-fiction book entitled Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design. It outlines how the future of sustainable architectural design is being influenced by women and women's ways of working. It's been hailed as a groundbreaking work in green architecture and design.

 Star Trek Strange New Worlds 10 is in book stores
The newest edition of SNW is in bookstores now. I'm not in it, but it's still a great read. It's also the end of an incredible journey. After ten years Pocket Books has decided to end the run of this excellent anthology. Needless to say, I am honored to have been a part of it. Thanks to editor Dean Wesley Smith, all the authors and everyone else involved in the creation of this series. It will definately be missed.

Writing, Writing, Writing...
Many of you have written asking what I've been up to lately, so here it is.
Besides my full-time day job I've been busy writing several short stories. I'm also deep into the third draft of a script for a horror film I have been working on. But, since it is now at 650 pages (and growing), I have decided to stop calling it a movie script (which is normally 100 pages) and turn it into a full-fledged book. Once completed I'll begin submitting it to publishers. After that, I'll come back and widdle it down to a 100-page script (or two) and submit that, as well.

My short story, "Demon", is featured in the popular anthology, Star Trek Strange New Worlds 8. Pick up a copy and tell me what you think. But do it soon, because now that SNW 10 is out, SNW 8 may be hard to find in print form soon.
BTW, this is my second story to appear in the pages of this anthology. My story, "Seven & Seven" appeared in Star Trek Strange New Worlds VI back in 2003. Find out more about both publications in the Books section.
